Throughout our property you will discover a series of mosaics that add to the artistic haven created here. Terra cotta suns, chips of reflective glass, broken dishware, seashells and chunks of coral stone peer out from a stucco mix into the dense green of lush tropical plantings.
The sound you hear when visiting this web page is that of a Puerto Rican tree frog called the Coquí. We left this on our website in fond memory of our little Coqui’s, all destroyed by Hurricane Wilma in 2005. Still, nature is everywhere and you’ll find numerous species of indigenous lizards, other frogs, iguanas, and even an occasional visit by one of Fort Lauderdale’s wild parrots – all adding to the tropical ambiance here.
The sound of rushing water fills the air as a two-story waterfall splashes playfully in a cascade of dancing drops beside the oversized freshwater swimming pool.
Even the pool shower stands as a testament to the unique vision of Tropi Rock's creator. Water spills from the top of a tall rock formation into a mosaic-tiled pool framed by fishtail palms, anthuriums and other exotic plants.
This tropical haven is just steps from the unique guest rooms and provides a special feeling whenever you open your door.
We deeply regret that we do not accept guests who are vacationing on Spring Break from college. Although we love kids, Tropi Rock is not a “party place” and we must respect the rights of other guests for a peaceful stay. Families with well-behaved children are always welcome.
